The Russell Terrier is a strong, hardy, earth-working Terrier. He is full of life and moves with confidence that matches his keen expression. The breed's handy size, small flexible chest and fearless nature make it an excellent specimen to work vermin below ground. Its weatherproof coat is predominantly white with tan and/or black markings.
Russell's remain devoted and loving to its 'people' for its lifetime. Intelligent beyond measure, these happy little dogs love their people, their need to be busy, and throw themselves into any game or job as they a diving into a burrow in hot pursuit of vermon, yet they love to just sit on the couch with you and watch T.V.
