Billie Jean came to us in september 2012 at almost 3 years of age from our friend in Sweden
“Billan” (bee-län) went to the biggest terrier show in the world ..Montgomery County Kennel Club the first time Russell Terriers were recognized to compete.
That weekend should would finish her championship by one of her co owners and renowned terrier people ...Maripi Wooldridge. and go to to Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex to her half brother Ch Goldsand's Columbus. Billan is owned by Maripi Wooldridge, Christian Manelopoulos, Jennifer Stevens, Rachel Corbin & Madeleine Sandell Bark. All her owners had the best time with this little girl on that weekend. Billan went in to win 3 all breed best in shows ...making her the first female Russell terrier (since AKC recognition in June 2012 ) to win an All Breed Best in Show and still to this day the only bitch to win a Best in Show on the mainland USA ! A top winning female in history.
She won the Russell Terrier National, Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club and Best of Breed at AKC National Championship ! Not only has she accomplished all these accolades in the show ring but in between...she became a mom twice. Billan not only won our hearts but everyone around her. She has not met anyone she does not like and she has constantly passed this trait to her puppies. Her love for kids is so sweet ...especially when she knows she can clean up after them when they eat. 😊
